Information You Submit
Queries Sent to Search Providers
A name, location, or other detail entered in a search tool is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Camas County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider may process the query under its separate privacy policy, so review that policy before submitting personal details.
Emails and Messages
Information sent by email or through a contact form is retained as needed to read and answer the message, maintain the related correspondence, and address the request. Those messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Routine server, analytics, and security systems can record technical details when a page loads. This data helps operate and protect the site and understand broad usage patterns. It may include:
- The internet protocol address used for the visit
- The browser name and version
- The device class and operating system
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on them
- The referring website, when supplied
- Dates and timestamps associated with requests
Cookies and Similar Storage
Cookies may be used to understand how visitors move through the site, remember limited preferences, support advertising, and measure performance. Browser controls can reject or remove cookies. Blocking them may cause some features, measurements, or partner services to work differently.
How Information Is Used
Collected information is used only for ordinary site operations and related services. Common purposes include:
- Keeping pages available, responsive, and secure
- Sending a search request to the selected partner service
- Learning which Camas County release-resource pages are useful
- Finding faults, abuse, and technical performance problems
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
Websites Beyond Our Control
Camas County Released Inmates links to Camas Sheriff resources, possible housing-jail pages, Idaho Department of Correction services, parole and probation information, court portals, VINE, BOP, ICE, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor follows an outside link, that destination’s privacy notice and data practices apply. This site does not control how an outside operator collects, keeps, secures, or shares information.
Advertising partners may use their own cookies or similar tools to understand activity across multiple websites and deliver interest-based advertising. That tracking occurs through the partner’s systems, subject to its controls and policies, rather than through a record maintained by Camas County Released Inmates.
Parties That May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited information may nevertheless pass to service providers or authorities when needed for the functions described in this notice:
- Search partners that receive and process submitted queries
- Analytics providers that measure site traffic and use
- Advertising networks that deliver or evaluate advertisements
- Law enforcement agencies or other government bodies acting under a valid subpoena, court order, warrant, or comparable legal demand
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse. No website, network, storage platform, or internet transmission is fully secure. Camas County Released Inmates cannot promise that a breach will never occur or that transmitted information will always remain private.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted personal information may use the contact channel to request review and deletion. Reasonable steps will be taken to remove the material when the request can be verified.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law and the nature of the request, a person may ask Camas County Released Inmates to:
- Provide a copy of personal information held about that person
- Correct personal information that is inaccurate
- Delete personal information that is eligible for removal
- Stop or limit certain processing where an opt-out right applies
These rights concern information held by this site. A request involving a sheriff, jail, IDOC, court, VINE, advertising network, or search provider must be directed to the organization that controls that information. Idaho government records are governed by applicable public-record and judicial-access rules, including Idaho Title 74 for covered executive-agency records.

This Privacy Notice may be revised as practices, services, or legal requirements change. An updated version becomes effective when it is posted here, together with a revised effective date where appropriate. Continued use after posting is subject to the updated notice.
